31 - more than mama: line dancing and finding hobbies that fill you

Caucasian woman with glasses and headband smiles in car with seat belt.

Ever wonder about hobbies and mom life? Should you make time for one? Do they matter? Do you even know what you like anymore?!

This episode, Tabitha Carnes and I sit down and chat hobbies and finding a part of yourself outside of kids and career. She stresses how important it is to find this piece of yourself, even if it is just playing and creating something at home while your kids take a nap.

This conversation will get you thinking about your own hobbies and maybe even encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone into something new.

Tabitha Carnes is a full time working mom with a passion for line dancing. She has been married to Joe since 2009, and they have three sweet and spunky kids, ages 5, 2.5 and 1. When she's not working her 9 to 5 or juggling the kids, she loves watercolor painting, reading, doing pilates, playing board games, teaching line dance, and bringing people together as often as she can. Tabitha is a follower of Jesus, an outgoing introvert, an unapologetic hobby hopper, a planner dabbler, and a chronic oversharer (also a chronic list maker, obviously).
